At Spinefy, accessible from spinefy.app, one of our main priorities is the privacy of our visitors. This Privacy Policy document contains types of information that is collected and recorded by Spinefy and how we use it.

This Privacy Policy applies only to our online activities and is valid for visitors to our app with regards to the information they shared and/or collect in Spinefy.

By registering for Spinefy, you consent to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

If you use our mobile app, we may send push notifications to your device. To do this, we use Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google) and, on Apple devices, Apple's APNs service. These notifications may include social activity alerts (friend requests) and, if you have given your consent, promotional communications. You can manage your notification preferences from the app settings. The device token used for push notifications is stored securely and is removed if you uninstall the app or revoke permission.

By accessing and using Spinefy, you agree to comply with these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part, you must not use the app.

Spinefy is a free app for managing your personal library. We reserve the right to add premium features in the future.

Use of the app for any illegal or unauthorized purpose is strictly prohibited.

User data is stored securely and is not shared with third parties without explicit consent.

Spinefy uses cookies and similar technologies to enhance your browsing experience and analyze app traffic.

Cookies are small files stored on your device when you visit our app. We use essential cookies for basic functionality and analytical cookies to understand how users interact with the app.

You can control and manage cookies from your browser settings. Please note that disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of the app.

We do not use third-party cookies for advertising or invasive tracking.

Right of access: you can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.

Right to rectification: you can request that we correct any inaccurate information.

Right to erasure: you can request the deletion of your personal data.

Right to restriction of processing: you can request that we restrict the processing of your data.

Right to data portability: you can request a copy of your data in a structured format.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us through the app's channels. We will respond to your request within 30 days.

You have full control over your data in Spinefy. You can delete specific data or your entire account at any time.

To delete specific data without removing your account: remove individual books from your shelf, edit or delete your reviews and ratings, update your profile information, export your data in JSON format from Profile Settings, or adjust your privacy settings.

To delete your entire account: open the Spinefy app and sign in, go to your Profile, tap "Request account deletion", confirm the request. You have 7 days to cancel the deletion from your Profile if you change your mind.

After deletion, the following data is permanently removed: profile, email, name, avatar, complete library (books, ratings, reviews, notes), badges, and friends. The following data is retained: automatic backup copies (deleted within 30 days) and anonymized data without personal identification.
